Hello and welcome back to todolaMEDIA.
It has been a while since I last sat down and published a blog-post like this. As it turns out a crippling injury in your dominant hand will do that to you. Many long months of waiting and physio later though and todolaMEDIA is back and worse better than ever!
So why don’t we start things off strong?
For those of you who don’t like reading long and rambling blog-posts I’ll summarise the good bits real quick.
todolaMEDIA is back and will be producing and publishing animated shorts again.
cadaDOSsemanas, the bi-weekly blog will be returning on Monday.
I have an exciting new project to share but I’ll be keeping it a secret for now!
So yes, now that I’ve recovered from my injured wrist I’ll be animating once again. I do have a few smaller projects that I’ve worked on recently which I’d like to share right now. Unfortunately, the client hasn’t yet published them on his end, so it’d be a bit rude of me to jump the gun on that one. So don’t be surprised if you see a blog-post about it soon!
I’ll be swinging back to my current projects a little bit later on, but for now you can rest assured that they are on their way!
In the meantime, some people might remember that blog-series I made with the terrible placeholder name.
Let me tell you cadaDOSsemanas really is just the worst name I could have come up with. Yet somehow it has stuck around, and it doesn’t seem to be leaving any time soon. However what isn’t the worst is the content and I’m hoping to be able to bring some fresh and exciting new content to the blog starting on Monday!
Just like before these posts will be releasing every other week and there should even be some more cool guest blogs too.

And now at last. The animated content.
The stuff people are here for (I hope).
There’s three big projects that I’m working on at the moment.
The first is another short-film project which is aiming for a Q2/3 2022 release. There will be a lot of juicy details about this one coming out over the next few months if all goes well so keep your eyes peeled. Until then though I’ll leave you with these juicy teaser images. If you’ve got a particularly keen eye you might even recognise the project.
The second project I’m hoping for a Q1 2022 release. It will be a little different to what I usually make. Without spoiling too many of the details it will be an extension of something that I’ve done before but presented in a much more visual way. There won’t be any further spoilers on this one until it’s out, but hopefully you’ll see it soon.
And the third and final project I’m working on is… a mystery screenplay. I won’t tell you what for, but it’s for a story I’m very fond of and can’t wait to tell. I won’t even hazard a guess on when this one will be ready. I expect it to take a very long time though and require funding that is currently beyond my means. However you’ll be seeing some more of this shortly after my first project is finished.

It seems rather anti-climactic to return with so little to show, but honestly 2021 was kind of the worst. An RSI put my right-hand out of commission for a long time and I’m still feeling some of the effects today where I’ve not quite regained all of my strength. However with 2022 comes the opportunity for something new.
And hopefully we can make this year special.
